New Fonts Not Work In New Users.
I don't want to keep having to switch profiles when I use InDesign so it would be good if someone could offer a way for InDesign in the Basic profile to You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed. This is very irritating because I need them for a design job... My InDesign documents which loaded fonts successfully from FAP yesterday do not recognize those same fonts today. I have recently discovered that the fonts are all loading fine in TextEdit and Pages, which leads me to believe the problem is with the install of MS Word and Adobe. I get the same list of ~25 core fonts available, when I have close to 400 in the HD/Library/Fonts folder (no fonts in the user font folder).Situation get stranger when I My Font Book shows that fonts are installed, validated and should be working properly.

Any suggestions on getting FAP and InDesign to play well together? This isn't something I can fix, so I'm going to close. @maxbrodie has the right solution. using font book or other font managing suite? A lot of programs have to load to memory all installed fonts to be able to run.So it is better to put fonts you use regularly in the Fonts folder. So for example I would have a 'Light' and 'Regular' but no 'Bold' while I did install the 'Bold' in the same way as the other weights.
